Ladies. Help I need some advice! ?

I've being TTC I did clomid on May 2008. and it failed. so I stop cuz i decided to get my husband tested before keep trying with clomid. i got my period on Jun 07. and on july 06. (im very irregular so i really dont know when i gona get my AF. Im plannin to start clomid again next month. I thought my period was regulating.. so i was hoping to get it this months too!! but is not here.. and i dont know why. ?? I have pcos. i thought maybe it regulated by itself! i took a HPT on friday came out negative! i dont have any symptoms that my AF is coming. So is this normal?? i dont know if drinkin a lot of coffee affect in any way my AF??? i know im not pregnant because i dont have any symptoms at all!! i was feelin sick on thursday & friday.. but since then everything is normal.. any advice?? and yes im going to the doctor !!! but maybe someone here got any similar experience!! =(

  1. It is very common to have irregular periods with PCOS and yes, it is possible to have a couple normal periods, and then have an absent period. I would watch the caffeine in the coffee, as high amounts of caffeine has been shown to reduce fertility and possibly contribute to early m/c.

The only way to know if you're pregnant or not, besides taking a test, is AF....just because you don't have symptoms doesn't mean you aren't.  And even if you did have symptoms, it wouldn't mean you are!  If you think you had s*x at the right times, it's very possible that you did conceive, but your body just hasn't produced enough hcg for a positive test result.  Depending on how often you want to test, I'd say test every other-every 3 days until you get AF.  If you really have no idea when AF will come, then you can always go to your doctor for a blood test.
