  1. Just up your calorie intake.  Drink whole milk.  Whole wheat toast with peanut butter.  And if you like spaghetti, get the whole wheat kind.

And try not to worry.  My doc told me my daughter wasn't gaining much weight.  I had her 4 weeks early and she was 9 lbs and 22 inches long, lol.  They also said my son was measuring at about 8 1/2 lbs at 30 weeks.  I had him 8 weeks later and he was only a 6 pounder. They're not always correct.

  2. protien shakes ,,smoothies

  3. Your doc is right on the development of blood, so do u need irons.

My suggest is you drink those mama pregnancy milk, that should give u ahead start. On food would be those nutritious food.

  4. Has ur babies weight only just become of concern for your doctor?? I had the same issue towards the end of my 1st pregnancy. When they measured my belly every wk they weren't getting bigger measurements and they started to worry thinking that my placenta may have stopped functioning properly.. Was going to be induced but went into labor myself.. My daughter weighed in at 7lbs 8..They stressed me for nothing.. Get a second opinion.. But just eat well and smoking is a major NO NO as can contribute to Low birth weight babies.

  5. well, first make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins every day and iron supplements if needed. then, just eat how you normally should. lots of fruits and vegetables. 100% whole wheat bread and english muffins, crackers, noodles. milk, cheese, yogurt. lots of carbs. throw in some cookies and ice cream if you are craving it. before bed have a bowl of milk and cereal. and when you wake up in the middle of the night hungry, GO EAT. =)
