Rate 1-10.

1 = Average male.

5 = Average androgyny.

10 = Explosive/violent androgyny.

Do you think he is attractive in his own special way? By that I am not asking if he fits your tastes. However, if you think he's hot, that's kudos points!

  1. I would say it is a good 5.

    Attractive...yes.  He has nice bone structure which appears symmetrical.  Does it fit my taste?  Not at all.  I like more athletically built men who won't hog the bathroom.  It is no fun to share makeup tips with your man.  Bonus points if he has blue eyes and shaves his head...goatees are nice too.

  2. Sorry, but I don't see how he looks androgynous at all.  He just looks really 80's.  I hate the idea of rating someone on a number scale since I think it's pretty objectifying, but I will say that I don't find him particularly attractive.  Men with long hair are waaaay s**y, but only if they take care of it.  When it looks like a frizzy mess, I don't find it attractive.

  3. id say a 5 honestly..pretty average.

    explosive would be like you wouldnt know if he was male or female....or like Hizaki....male...but looks female.

    but either way...he was pretty cute :)

    I agree with smudgeth...i too think he would be rather average looking without make up...which makes me wonder..was he hotter with or without makeup.....

    Jordanna....Steve Perry is gorgeous! Why the h**l cant men look like him these days? id love to run my fingers through his hair (* blush)

  4. 5...

  5. I'd say -10, is that really a man? He looks liek Elvira!

    No I am not 'up with' metal bands.

    WHY the thumbs down? You ask for an honest asnwer, I'm giving my honest one :-)

  6. Sorry only 5.... he is average....... IMO no one beats Steve Perry for having a balance of feminine and masculine characteristics without make up or having to try at all.

    yummy

  7. well I'm no lady

    but I remember the 80's fondly

    the hair metal

    and  glam  that goes back into the 70's

    went and dl'd the album, thanks krash!

    (pretty cool pics for a band)

  8. Meh, I give him a 5. He looks like hair metal androgyny, not real androgyny. Like he'd probably be a really normal looking guy if you took off all the makeup and hair extensions. And sure, I can see how he'd be attractive if you're the sort of person to find, say, Sebastian Bach attractive. He kinda looks like Vince Noir (from The Mighty Boosh).

    Edit: @Nick, I find guys who are more androgynous than that attractive. If you want to say that makes me perverted, so be it. I'm attracted to biological women too, so why on earth would it bother me for a man to look feminine? Pretty is pretty, parts don't matter.

    Edit 2: I thought the point was to rate how androgynous he is, and to comment on whether he as an individual is attractive? Contrary to popular belief, I don't find EVERYONE attractive. ;) I don't even find Vinnie Vincent attractive, personally, although I can see how others might. Note also that I never said I wasn't attracted to masculine men. Liking androgyny does not equal hating manliness. You can appreciate both.

    Why all the hate? There's really no need to personally attack me. Of course I have standards; gender just isn't one of them. If you want to talk about relationships, I go for things like compatibility, intelligence, common interests, personality... things that will help us get along and be happy in the long run. Looks are a factor, but when we're talking long-term, it's not as much of one. The people I drool over and the people I'd want to date are not always the same. ;)

  9. Im a guy.

    First of all, I appreciate that fact that women dont require the butch, tough, manly man sort of look as the only definition of male s*x appeal

    Secondly, those people are not just androgynous looking, they are down right feminine looking.  I am forced to question any womans sense of sexual attraction, sexual preferences, if she finds people like this attractive. Consider that your sexual interests are a bit unconventional and skewed, a kink or a perversion

    There is a big difference between a more city/civilized metrosexual look (as opposed to the country rugged look) and the feminine/androgyny look.  Just because a guy isnt a butch, cowboy, biker-gang, ex-con sort of thing doesnt mean he has to be one step away from transsexualism.  I love the fact that you find less than purely masculine men attractive. I love that you find more feminine men attractive... just so long as these men are still on the male end of the spectrum.  The sad thing is that you prefer guys that are on the feminine end of the spectrum... which is no different than being bisexual or bicurious in-denial.

    I would rate that guy a 10 on your androgyny scale.  Given a change in clothing and a little more upper body feature, you woulnt know it was a guy. Seriously... and that fact is not s*x to men, and I see no reason for it to be s**y for a real woman, either.

    I would rate the face as a 3 on the feminine s*x appeal scale.  In the bottom half of the first listed picture, would say "kissable lips" if it didnt make me want to spew on my keyboard.

    smudge

    If youre already bisexual then you have no defining gender limits... so really whats the point in even assessing these pictures except to say "he isnt too manly for me"

    Also, anyone that says "parts dont matter," "what you look like doesnt matter"... is someone without personal standards... really the type who isnt interested in a relationship and isnt picky about their partners.  They are honry and lustful and desperate to get laid no matter with what
