Ladies and Gentlemen are our minds and thought processes ruled by our gender?

Question

Has gender become such a radical factor for segregating the human population into two groups that we have forgotten we are fellow human beings?

Why is there gender bias today still in the age of reason and freedom?

Is it political or something deep inside our minds or semthing which has become genetic because of our chromosomes?

I know right. It is mainly men doing that though.

Society shapes people beliefs. it's interesting when we study other cultures where the male and female roles and attributes are reversed.

People are just different - there isn't one trait that links all men, or one trait that links all women.

There are gender traits that are biological. You can see this in children. Without any help, a boy will pick up a toy truck and a girl will go for the baby doll.

But for the most part, our gender differences are minimal. Most just come out of what society expects from a male and female. There is far too much emphasis on gender traits and unfortunately can cause someone to second guess their talents because they are not the right gender.

We're human first, and our gender second.

Gender is entirely a social construct, so yes, I agree that it is a factor in the massive MALE/FEMALE dichotomy.
