Ladies and Gentlemen what is your words of wisdom?

My modo is "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger." That's a fact of life. So rather the one being killed you must kill to get what you want. Although this is MY rule of life I also think "there is power in numbers." so I try to make as many friends as possible to see my logic and to crush anyone who disagrees. I will defend you if you defend me. I am a person who never forgives or forgets anything.

Am I being to vague? Or do you agree with me?

What is the words of wisdom you follow?

  1. "live the life at present ,because God knows what's best for us"

  2. Many negative experiences in my life have not killed me and they have definitely not made me stronger. It VERY rare that someone has a traumatic experience and is actually stronger for it.

Your attitude is general seems very adversarial. My instinct is that you have had some very negative experience(s) and you have developed a serious distrust of people. That might sound like a criticism but I assure you it is not. A loss of trust can sometimes be a good thing. It is a sad reality of life that not everyone can be trusted. Ultimately though, it is a mindset that is not likely to work in your favor in the long run. Everyone has to trust someone sooner or later. It is a risk we must all take. My attitude then is something more like

"Hope for the best, expect the worst"

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but I too can be very unforgiving if someone crosses the line. It is much easier to do a bad thing and say sorry than it is to not do the thing in the first place.

Sooner or later you have to put yourself in the position of possibly getting very hurt. You can only hope the other person doesn't want to hurt you.

You should bare in mind also that many people forgive for their own sake. It brings them a measure of peace. Somethings are unforgiveable though and in my opinion shouldn't be forgiven. You can only try to reconcile yourself to such things. Sometimes there are circumstances which make an action far more understandable.

Put yourself as honestly as you can into the other person's shoes and judge their actions from that point of view. It should be fairly clear what their intent was.

  3. I don't think you're being too vague

but when people disagree with you maybe you should try to be a little more understanding of what htey think and believe

when that happens to me.. i try not to argue and just remember.. everyone's entitled to their opinion

and i don't really follow any words of wisdom.. but i realized that you have one life.. you can dwell on it and be bored.. or live with what you're given and try to make the best of it

    that's all anyone can do

and you're right..whatever doesn't kill you does make you stronger

so why not take risks or chances when you only have one life to do it all?

  6. for a long time it bothered me to not be afraid of death, just really crippling injuries that would make me wish I was dead so I came up with this motto: If you have no fear of death then the only thing you should fear is your own ignorance of when you should be afraid.

  7. This too shall pass ! after that, Seek Ye First the Kingdom of Heaven!

  8. wow, so anyone who disagrees with you is doomed?
