For about 6 days she has had pains in her lower abdomen and she is urinating frequently, today she also saw a little blood on the toilet tissue when she wiped after urinating...I don't think that these are signs of pregnancy although we had unprotected s*x on the second and fourth day after her period was over(her period started on the 7th of this month and ended on the 11th)..so I think 11 or 13 days after s*x would be too soon to start showing symptoms.I don't know if this has anything to do with it but we also used condoms with spermicidal lubricant a couple times recently(we never used those before) and I read they sometimes can cause urinary tract infections...what do you guys think is wrong with her?

  1. she most def. has a urinary tract infection, she needs to go to  the doctor. i had those same symptoms

  2. Sounds like a lower Urinary tract infection!! take her to a doctor!

  3. she should see a doctor!!and get a pregnancy test just in case

  4. it does sound like an infection, make her go to the doctor,he's gonna give her antibiotics.Cranberry juice helps a lot with kidneys and bladder.

Maybe she's allergic to latex or the lubricant

  5. Hey

It definitely sounds like a bladder infection. I've had a few of those and my husband is a doctor. It's really sore but antibiotics will clear her up in no time. Nothing to worry about, but if you leave it too long it can cause more problems. In the meantime get her to drink a lot of water, as much as she can manage. I'm sure the doctor will give you all the info, but it's caused by bacteria going up her urethra and into her bladder. This can be caused by many thing, including s*x. It helps if she goes to the toilet afterwards. Good luck.
