Ladies....if you lived in Los Angeles, would you drive to Las Vegas by yourself??

I have made that trip several times by myself, but that was years ago in the 80's.  If your car is in good shape & you have road service, a cell phone & a credit card in case you need it, then GO FOR IT!  Take an extra gallon of water in case your car overheats or just for yourself.  The roads are probably better now than they were when I traveled them... I know the cars definately are!

well i am a 15 year old male but...

I would drive just as long as my car is in TIP TOP shape, and i have a cell phone and GOOD tires

If your car is in good shape and you are cautious when you stop for gas or lunch or whatever, you should have no problems driving alone.  (I've driven alone all over this country from time I was about 19 and never had any trouble.)  The trip itself should be perfectly safe, but what you should consider is whether or not you should be in Las Vegas by yourself.  If you're meeting someone there, you should be fine but if you're going alone, just be careful.

Only with a friend, in a rental car with additional insurance, a road service card, good music,  good air conditioning, and on a good nights sleep!
