i was told that they are connected that liking one is usually connected to the other it refers to what they are wearing. thanks.

Yes one is more socilly acceptable than the other. SHoulder pads are just WRONG

Both are very restricting. In the first one the woman is wearing a straitjacket and in the second one the woman is wearing a dress with shoulder pads (restriction of the arms) and that is really tight at the hips (restriction of the legs).

That, or liking the second one means you're crazy.
