Ladies only who had Clomid?

Question

I hade a tubal reversal almost 1 yr ago and my gyni put me on Clomid 100mg but now he put me on 150mg for 5 days. My question is did you getpregnantt if so how many babies did you have. Also he wants to give me the shot with Clomid what are the chances of me having a baby. I'm in good health and I'm 28yrs old. But my gyni wants 2 check my hubby's sperm level but we already have a 4yr old together. Good advise please. I really want another baby

I did Clomid off and on for over a year, around the same dosage.  The first time I got pregnant on it, I had a miscarriage.  This time - a full year since my miscarriage, I was pregnant with twins and lost one of the twins early on.  I also did the HCG trigger shot (which is what I assume your doctor is talking about.)

Infertility is gut wrenching and no one can tell you for sure if you will conceive.  My best advice after having gone through all of this is to develop a stronger relationship with your spouse, because you will need them to lean on during this time.  And stay away from other pregnant women and baby showers.  It only makes it worse.  Good look!  It happens for many people very quickly, but don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen for you on the first try.

I got pregnant second round with clomid.  It was a very low dosage... 20 mg, I think.  I only had one baby.  The chances are pretty high for multiples, though... 1 in 10, if I remember correctly, and they increase with the higher dosages.  I'm not sure what your chances are, specifically, because I'm not familiar with tubal reversals.  But I know clomid is seen as the first choice for fertility treatments with most doctors, and has a high success rate.  

Couldn't hurt to check hubby's sperm count, right?  Just another thing in your corner, if it comes back high.

I conceived with clomid and an ovidrel shot to induce ovulation once my follicles where mature enough. I fell preg on my second cycle and am 3 days away from being due now!! Good luck.
