Girls, my girl has MAJOR cramps tonight. Shes crying, and I don't know what to do. I would like to help her more than just giving her Midol and tea. Shes not mean when she has her period (believe it or not), shes just in a lot of pain. Any suggestions?

  1. Awww what a nice boyfriend! Other than what you've already done If you have a heating pad or a hot towel just apply that to her lower stomach.

  2. hey there what helps for me is panadol or nurefon tablets  or go 2 the chemistnad get sum special period pain tablets and heat bags help 2 hope i helped

  3. Help her get into bed and get her a really hot rubber hot water bottle. Her spending time on the toilet doing no 2s could help her out too.  I know how she feels...

Being company for her when she needs it and going out of the room when she needs quiet will be great too.

  4. Give her Midol, which is ibuprofen, every 6 hours. then you can also give her paracetamol 500mg or 650mg 1 tablet every 6 hours also, give it to her together with the midol. you can get hold of these medications over the counter. hot water bottle or bag can also help alleviate the pain. To avoid having the MAJOR cramps next time, suggest to your girl to drink either paracetamol or midol or ponstan once her period starts, before the cramps or the pain starts. then, take the meds every 6 hours for the first 24 hours then as needed thereafter (i.e. if there is pain). the cramps are at their max in the first 24 - 48 hours so you have to stop them from getting worse with these meds. Trust me on this, i have MAJOR cramps myself but if i take the meds, they do not get worse. however, sometimes i make use of stronger medications like etoricoxib. this might need a prescription from the doctor though.

  5. Ibuprofen should help as it has anti-inflammatory properties.  Heating pads can also help and  a warm bath.  If she constantly has this much pain she should try taking ibuprofen 2-3 days before her period starts as that can also ease the pain.  She should be glad that she has a boyfriend that actually cares.  Hope this helps...
