I am 5-6 weeks pregnant and my doc. just recently told me that the baby is not going to make it because the pregnancy hormone in my blood is getting lower and lower. They did ultra sounds and could not see a developing fetus. So I am going to let nature take its course and not take the pills the doc gave me to help me miscarry faster. The thing I am dredding though is the painful cramps. What can I take for the pain when I start to miscarry, which will most likely be sometime this week or next week. The doc gave me some percacets. Will those help? I have never taken any kind of prescription drugs. Gosh I am getting kinda scared just sittin around waiting for the miscarraige. I am 17 going on 18 in 2 weeks. Will it hurt REALLY bad? How long is it going to last? Just need some opinions or advice. Thanks ;)

  1. oh Im sorry for what you are going through :(

Most people I know of who have miscarried have said it doesnt hurt much at all- if anything its like a period cramp. Some women dont even realise that they are miscarrying when it happens.

And the choice is totally up to you, but I really think that you should talk to your doc about not taking the pills to help things along, there could be risks such as an autopic pregnancy which would be very painful and cause alot of complications.

  2. no deary dont you worry about a thing if it were to take place this week or next it is not very likely to be painfull most woman who miscarry unknowingly do not feel a thing just like getting a normal period, its usually from the 12th week it would be painful, i am terribly sorry for you , you must be devastated hun, chin up xx

  3. dont think its going to happen.. sometimes doctors are wrong. just think positive and that u will have this babby./. it is good u didnt take that pill just let it happen and if it happens call 911 dont be scared..

  4. I don't know how it feels or anything, but I am really sorry.
