Ladies: would you find it strange?

Question

if you were dating a 25 year old guy, who didnt discuss his relationships with his family?

what would yo think about this?

it would make me feel like he is ashamed of me or that there is something he is hiding like another girl who does know the family.

It depends on his reasons for not discussing it. Maybe he's private about his relationships, or maybe he wants to see where the relationship is going before talking about it with his family (introducing a girlfriend/boyfriend to parents/siblings/etc is a fairly large step). Of course, there's also the possibility that he's hiding something. Talk to him about it and trust your instincts.

I wouldn't think anything of it.

Maybe he feels his love life is nobodys business.

maybe he's got a bad relationship with his family and doesn't like to talk about it. it could hurt too much  or maybe he's embarrassed about the situation. before my father died, we had a horrible relationship...i was actually embarrassed to be his son, so i rarely talked about him.

he'll talk about his family when he's ready. don't push the subject.

not necessarily depends on how long you have known him for. maybe his relationship with his family is messed up so he doesn't like to talk about it. boys are not like girls they don't open up so easily.  so i say just give it time and then try asking him about his family again.
