Ladurée bakery Paris?

Where is a Ladurée bakery in Paris that is closest to the Ile St Louis? I believe there are several.

Everyone says the macaroons are not to be missed, I'd like to know if there is one near my apartment.

EDIT: In point of fact this address is less than 3 km from the Ile St. Louis while the one given immediately below is a bit under 4 km.

I was only at the one on the Champs Elysee, but the macaroons are heaven on earth....do not miss!

16 rue royale in the 8th arrondissement. It's the closest, and also the oldest Ladurée shop. It's beautifully decorated. Enjoy your macaroons, they really are divine!!!
