Lady Of The House to take down Silver Ridge for taking home the Sis Live Nursery
The two who have got their presence acknowledged and appreciated in the line-up of the Class 4 Sis Live Nursery are Silver Ridge and Lady Of The House. The race will be held at Ripon over six furlongs on Tuesday, 28th August. Seven runners have
turned up for the race that has promised the winner the £3,881 prize money.
The Ralph Beckett trained cleared the maiden at the second asking of the career and then qualified as the runner-up in the novice stakes the two-year-old grey colt took part in.
He was entered as the favourite in the EBF Coolmore Alfred Noble Median Auction Maiden Stakes on 11th June, 2012 at Windsor over six furlongs. Paired with jockey, Jim Crowley, the two-year-old was prominent right at the beginning of the race and
upon the asking of the jockey, he drew clear over a furlong out and won the race by the margin of five lengths.
After breaking the maiden, the Pickford Hill Partnership owned had an entry in the Trade Union Congress Novice Stakes on 29th June, 2012 at Doncaster over seven furlongs.
The Irish grey colt missed the race by the margin of 2 ½ lengths as it was won by the favourite entry, Maxentius.
Filling in the third position was, Dashing David.
The other note worthy entry is the two-year-old bay filly, Lady Of The House. Holy Roman Emperor‘s filly has raced just thrice during the career which took off just during this season. Her three tries at breaking the maiden failed with the last two ending
in second positions.
Her most recent try was in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Maiden Stakes on 4th June, 2012 at Carlisle over five furlongs. The favourite entry missed the third try at clearing the maiden just by a head’s margin.
The 7 to 2 entry will race with jockey, Amy Ryan, while Silver Ridge who is backed by 5 to 2 odds will have Richard Kingscote onboard.
Both are in for their fourth outing of the career with Silver Ridge enjoying a competitive advantage due to clearing the maiden and then extending the experience due to racing in the novice stakes.
