  1. Not really - a good quality finch mix, millet spray, and a source of calcium in the form of either a mineral block, cuttlebone, or soluble grit mixture is good.

    They also do well with sprouted seed, egg food, and fresh fruit and vegetables - though sometimes they can be picky eaters if they've only been exposed to a seed diet.
