Ladydolly gets the best odds for winning the Ladbrokes Mobile Median Auction Maiden Stakes
Ladydolly has the best odds for winning the Ladbrokes Mobile Median Auction Maiden Stakes at Southwell in England on Thursday, March 1, 2012. Winner of the class-5 event will be awarded with a cash prize of £2,264.
The five furlong race has attracted just six runners until now and they are: Ladydolly, Skystream, Look At Me Now, How Sweet It Is, Miss Bloom and Whip It In.
Although Ladydolly does not have a very good record, but she is still rated highly by the bookmakers. She has never been able to win a race, but her best performance came at Southwell on January 12, where she finished as runner up.
That performance, a couple of months ago, indicates that the four-year-old filly has the potential of finishing at the top of the table. The punters might be placing a lot of bets on her today.
Roy Brotherton’s trained runner will be partnered by young jockey, Darren Edward Egan, who is looking to make a name for himself in the sport.
Skystream, trained by Ian Semple, has also gained the confidence of the bookmakers. However, she has never raced at Southwell and things might not be the easiest for her. The punters will be a touch hesitant over placing bets on her.
The four-year-old filly has entered seven races until now, but there has been only one occasion, where she managed to finish in the top three. Fortunately for her, that show came in her last outing, which is why she has been rated highly today.
Skystream will be partnered by jockey, Tony Hamilton, who is a seasoned rider and will look for a solid display at Southwell.
Jim Boyle’s trained colt, Look At Me Now, will also be the one to watch out for, as he has gained a decent momentum recently. His last few performances have shown that he has the speed and skills to match the rest of the pack.
The three-year-old runner does not have any victories to his name until now, but things may change for him today. He will be ridden by Stephen Craine, who has gained quite a lot of experience at this level.
All runners at Southwell are relatively new to the sport, but have quite a lot of potential. They will certainly entertain the spectators at the venue today.
