Ladyship has got a great chance of winning the Capital & Regional Handicap at Ascot in England on Friday, July 20, 2012. A cash prize of £7,439 has been set for the winner of the class-3 event.
There will be a total of 19 runners fighting for victory in the 6 furlong race, thus the competition will be an interesting one. The going will be good to soft, which will be a test for some of the participants and their names might be withdrawn before start of action at 16:30 GMT.
A few runners have got amazing talent and have been performing well over the past few months, thus they will definitely be fighting at the front at Ascot. Some of them have got a lot of experience, which will help them exert pressure on their opponents, but despite all that, the victory might go to Ladyship in the end.
The young filly does not have a lot of experience, as she made her debut one year ago. However, she has always delivered decent results for her team and her fans will be expecting her to be competitive as always. The bookmakers also have faith in her abilities, thus they have given her a starting price of 6 to 1.
The three-year-old challenger made her debut in July 2011 and finished third in her first ever race. She was rated as the favourite to win back then, but disappointed the bookies in the end. The result was still not a bad one for her though and she improved her skills in the next event, finishing runner up in it.
Oasis Dream’s daughter was rested for quite some time and did not take part in any other race in the 2011 season. Her start to the next year was once again a positive one, as she finished third in her first outing. She was once again given the best odds, but failed to finish at the top.
Ladyship finally broke the shackles in her most recent run, where she managed to win the first race of her career. She is expected to carry on the same momentum at Ascot today under experienced jockey, Ryan Moore.
