The Germany skipper has expressed his disappointment on the side’s performance against Sweden in the World Cup qualifier on Tuesday
Die Mannschaft blew a 4-0 lead against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier at the Olympiastadion to end the game 4-4. The visitors put up an amazing show in the second-half to fin the net four times in less than 30 minutes
to claim a vital point.
With the result, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904’s dreams of emulating their previous record of a perfect qualification to an international competition are dashed, but they still lead Group C with 10 points from the four games played.

and a goal each from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Per-Mertesacker-c29680 and Mesut Ozil.
However, a stunning comeback from the away side shocked the hosts as they blew their chance of taking all three points from the game.
Lahm added that the players became complacent after scoring four times and Sweden took advantage of that. The defender lamented the loss in concentration later in the game and blamed some poor defensive errors for the result.
“When you're leading 4-0 and the match ends 4-4, something has gone wrong. Something like this should never happen to a top team. Clearly we felt it was done and dusted at 4-0, and that is only normal too, but then we lost concentration,
made mistakes, lost our organisation and suddenly Sweden score four goals,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Bayern Munich skipper stressed that a performance like this is not acceptable and is confident that the team will sit together and analyse their mistakes to improve in the future.
“You concede one goal, you could concede two goals, and suddenly everything starts to fall apart. This can't happen. We'll sit down together and analyse everything,” he concluded.
Die Mannschaft will next take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kazakhstan-c2931 home-and-away in March next year for their next two fixtures in World Cup qualification.
