  1. Ma ti pare? vai sul lago di como

  2. I would recommend lake Garda as it has more tourist facilities than lake Como.

There are plenty of options to stay around, either in Agritourismo (Italian version of B&B) and plenty of pensione and hotels.

Best is to rent a car and stay in some place a little outside the tourist hotspots.

Torri del Benaco is particularly nice ... also Riva del Garda, but this is quite touristy

  3. It would be hard to go wrong with either choice, but my preference would also be Lago Garda. I live an hour south of the lake and spend a lot of time there. My favorite spots are Sirmione on the south and Malcesine and Limone on the north. There are good walks in a lot of places around the lake. You can walk the entire north end from Riva del Garda (not a difficult walk) to Torbole (there's a large beach here). There are also nice walking paths along the lake at Sirmione and the town of Garda. There's a good restaurant next to the castle in Sirmione, but there are a lot of good choices in all the towns.

  4. they both are fantastic, for holidays I think is better lake Garda, everywhere you can find everything you are interested, when you are there you can visit many interesting Italian place non very far.

  5. Well I've only been to Lake Como. And it is beautiful. I was actually staying in Bellagio and Lecco as an exchange student and it was amazing!
