  1. Hey Bud, Winnepasaki is a great spot, just really big and WAY overpopulated.   The best advice anyone could possibly give you here, is to get on the water at 4:30- 5:00 am, and fish the sunrise, because at this time of the year, everybody and their families are on vacation up there and the lake becomes very difficult to fish after 7-8 am, what with all the practicing waterskiers and tubers and  whatnot, the water gets stirred up pretty good. Also right now the waters really warm so you're gonna want to go deep.  Really deep,  look at this chart and concentrate on the area marked "B", just Northeast of Lakeshore Park, as the water here is cold and deep, also this is where there's been a bunch of lakers caught in recent years when the waters warm like this, this is also where that blacked out 18 lb. salmon was caught last year !!    I would recomend sinking some nightcrawlers or some decent size shiners on a sliding bottom rig, remember it's deep here, 100 ft., Line up, bud.   Here's the chart and a good link to the lake.

PS.   The stormy rain clouds that have been surrounding the area lately may end up being a silver lining for your trip as the water temp has dropped by 4 degrees in the past week.

  2. try some worms

i looked it up and it didnt say

  3. Try the gas pumps at wolfborrough and the bay near weirs beach..

    good luck!!

Also go to the far docks on the way left side..
