ok well i have been trying to figure this out for months!! there is this old horse racing arena that myteriously shut down in the 80's. but it seems noone knows why. I have actually snuck into the barn, and there is still alot of tack and saddles,and cleaning equiptment left in there. it puzzles me.it kind of seems like they just got up and left. i have sent out over 30 email and only got 4 replys. they all say it was an old racing arena for training race horses. i looked into the library archives and still found nothing. so please tell me if you have any information,its really annoying me. thank you!

Wow, that is intriguing.  I don't know anything about it.

Have you tried finding the current owner?  This should be part of the public record.  Many counties even have it online.  All you need is the address, or the approximate address, then you can go to or call the bureau of deeds (or Indiana's equivalent) and find out.
