I've always been a pro-Odom Laker fan, but I have to admit that would be a real nice upgrade.

Image the in-practice dunk contests between Smith and Kobe.

YAY!! more defece! he and Bynum would be incredible. by odom nice knowing ya. another good thing is he is only 23.  still 7 years before he turns 30! thats good that means look:

Bynum -20 years old

Smith-23Years old

Kobe-29 Yrs Old

Gasol-28 yrs old

Fisher-33 yrs old.

everyone is under 27.

That would be cool, but I'd rather see them trade Odom for a solid PG. Fish is a bit rusty.

I don't like it.

As someone who actually watched every laker game past season I can tell you with credence that there is nobody in the NBA that can do what Lamar Odom can do. Problem is, he doesn't always do all of those things.

yes, Josh Smith is a Much better jumper and shot blocker., but Lamar is one of a kind. He can pass like a world class PG, he can penetrate like LeBron, he can rebound with the best of em, and he has got the handles of your average point guard not to mention above average speed for a guy 6'10".

I would not like to see Lamar go because when the whole team plays well (not including luke walton of course) Lamar plays well. And I would like to give next year a shot with Andrew Coming back to tear up the Paint all around the league. I feel  Lamar will be more consistent with Bynum back because the whole team will be playing 70 win basketball next season with the Bynumite.
