Lakers FANS:What do you guys think Artest being a Rocket?

Lakers had a chance to get him. A guy who would take pressure off Kobe and that perimeter defender they needed. But, How does it feels to stuck with Lamar Odom?

I think its great.. also for the lakers. There is no way I see Kobe and Ron on the same team. Odom is great, why give him up for Artest? Just because he wasn't good in the playoffs. Come on, Odom offers so must prospect for this team. He can do it all. He has come a long way since he first became a laker you have to admit that. He can play almost every position and at times he is hard to guard.

Artest would be a great defensive threat no doubt, but him and Kobe on offense i don't see that. He can be very rebellious at times and i don't know if Phil wants to work with that

As for the Rockets... they are stacked !! but they always have been... Lets see if they actually go far in the playoffs

Good for the Rockets, its not like our Bitter Rivals the Kings are gonna give Artest up to us. They were asking for a King's Ransom (haha get it?)

Man I know them Lakers fans is MAD. They had a chance to get Ron Artest but they didnt so Ha and Ha.

not a fan or hater of either but i just want to say im excited already for next years playoffs. this will make for some good matchups in the west.

im a kings fan myself and personally there is no way that the kings will trade with the lakers.. not because of that bitterness against them but its because they dont have the pieces and parts that we want them to give up...

they want artest but im pretty sure they dont like giving up bynum or odom

thats the problem the lakers had every opportunity to take artest but still nothing and here comes the rockets they gave up B-Jax for nostalgia sake for the kings and an interesting prospect in Donte Green and a first round pick next season...

I'm not a Laker Fan but I really wanted him to go there...........it would have been funny!! This gonna sound mean but he would have screwed them up now they will just be as good as last year. I think he will be good for the Rockets though, unless some how he comes between Yao and Tracy's tight friendship and one of them wants to kill him (it could happen).

Laker fans should be happy that Artest isn't a Laker and that he's a Rocket instead. He totally wouldn't have fit the Laker's offensive system anyway, and even though Artest makes them a better team, I don't think it moves them up in the standings much in the West.

I'm  a HUGE Laker fan, and I'm happy for him.  I think he will have a better chance to win a title than if he came to LA.  Good for him.  lol
