ok this isnt a serious trade, its just messin around a little bit but My Lakers need to win a championship now and the Pistons would get another young player and also a huge expiring contract in Odom with whom in the off season they can either choose to resign him or let him go to free agency and have a ton of cap room.

  1. Trade seems pretty decent for both sides.  But, I must commend you.  I think you are the first Laker fan that has proposed a trade that didn't involve either Luke Walton or Coby Karl.  Finally, a Laker fan with some objectivity and common sense.

  2. actually...its not bad

  3. Good trade in many aspects, but Farmar will not be a good replacement for Chauncey.

  4. I think Chauncey is hitting downhill pretty hard now, so It might help if the Lakers kept Farmar and develop him a little more, who knows what he could become, he showed GREAT potential in the playoffs last season...

    Keep him a while.

  5. Detroit may want to rebuild but they are not going to give away talents.  I don't think many GM want Odom for his reputation and Lakers isn't going to be able to pawn Odom for star players.  Detroit already have Stuckly and why would they want Farmar?  I don't think there's anyone in LA that Detroit would want to trade with maybe the exception of Bynum.  Only because he is still young and have some potential.  Rebuild doesn't mean to trade your best player for another team's worst.  Sorry.

  6. lakers are getting too much

  7. Chauncey Billups is way better then Lamar Odom, and mcdysse only has like 2 more years left unlike Jorden Farmar, lakers get way more in this deal.

  8. It would be nice...but its not gonna happen

  9. i didnt know still dont

  10. go pistons

  11. i guess its ok
