Lalla Aicha Tour School: Xi Yu Lin improves position in second round
Chinese Xi Yu Lin stunned her rivals in the second round of Lalla Aicha Tour School 2013 after she rose to the seventh position with the help of a solid 67.
Lin could not get off to a strong start to her campaign because she found it a bit hard to tackle the pressure in the first round. The Chinese star posted a 70 in the first round on Thursday,
taking the 25th position on the leaderboard.
However, the second round saw her unveil her best putting skills as she shot seven birdies.
Starting her round on the back nine, Lin launched her first birdie on the 10th hole. She then parred the next two holes and shot another birdie on the difficult par-3 13th.
She, however, faltered on the next hole, registering a bogey.
The bogey impact was quickly offset after the young gun treated herself to another birdie on the 15th.  The 18th hole saw her in the same fiery form as she reeled off
her fourth birdie of the day.
On the front nine, Lin maintained her grip on her driver and putter, making near-perfect shots on almost all the holes. She rattled off a birdie on the second hole but carded a bogey on the
next.
Regaining her composure, Lin posted her sixth birdie on the 5th hole.
Speaking to the media about kept her going all the way through on Friday, Lin said that despite not posting a big score on the first day, she did not lose confidence and was sure she could
boost position on Friday.

in her career.
“I feel better than yesterday because I had one double yesterday and after that double I was very angry so I missed two birdies and today was much better”.

position after she carded a 73.
