Lamar?? (snowboard brand)?

I'm looking for a new snowboard and I found this cool one on ebay:

Is Lamar a good brand???

no lamar is more of a budget board and will not last very long

For a beginger lamar is a great deck.

Its not a high end board, but when your just starting you dont need to drop 700 bucks on a setup.

I answered your other question look at those websites for good decks and google last years products. You will find stuff way cheaper

Lamar is garbage, avoid it at all costs. Buy a board from a reputable brand. While I agree that you don't need to drop thousands of dollars on a new setup when you're just starting out you should never buy a "beginner" board. Chances are, you won't be a beginner for very long so why waste the money a board made for one?

My answer is pretty much the same as everyones above me...buuut, Big 5 and probably other similar stores sell Lamar boards for about a 100 dollars...so don't waste your money on it. When looking for my first board i checked out those cheap boards and ended up getting a burton from a pawn shop for way cheaper.
