Lame college dorm...help!!!?

I'm in a kind of lame college dorm. Do you mainly meet people in your dorm? Where can you meet other people? Help!

no, you can meet people in your classes, in the dining hall, at the coffee cart, and basically anywhere else. just be confident and cool and people will naturally gravitate towards you. and how do you know that your dorm is "lame". try hosting a party in your dorm room and that will give you a chance to get to know everyone - the worst that could happen is that you wasted a night. you could check in places that you like to be, like in the art studio or the soccer fields - that way your new friends would share interests with you. good luck :D -laura
