Laminate flooring paddding: shiny side up or green bumpy side?

I got about 600 sq ft of laminate flooring and pad. My pad is the high end brand they had and it has one side that is textured looking, green, and cushy. The other side is reflective and smooth. Which side actually faces up or down? Thanks, hopefully I can get started tonight!

Shinny side up (acts as a vapor barrier and aids in installation) The spongy side goes down to act as a shock absorber. You made a good choice to go with a better underlay.
