However, that wasn’t the case as England strolled to a five goals to nil win in the match.
Lampard scored two goals in the game himself, but he went on to save special praises for the new players who have recently gone on to join the team.

Despite the team winning with such ease, Lampard thinks that there is still room for improvement. He wants the team to improve even further.
He also feels that the team needs to focus on their coming games, which is why they can’t get carried away by their win.
"We will try and improve," he stated.
"Whenever we play, even if we play pretty well, we always look for areas to improve. I think we took our foot off the pedal at times in the second half, and maybe that's natural when you are 3-0 up with another game in a couple of days.”
