Lampard to emerge victorious in the Grade OR Bettor.com Betting Exchange Sprint
Race favourite Lampard is looking to gain an advantage in the Grade OR Bettor.com Betting Exchange Sprint, which is scheduled to take place at Shawfield on 17th March, 2012.
Trained by J. Little, the hound will have an opportunity to show his full potential as he will be racing against Jimmy Bow Tie, Annamore Richy, Farneys Mark, Strange Ozzy, and Comrade over 300 metres for £ 150.
The son of Ballymac Maeve, out of Rathmeehan Maura, is less familiar with the track at Shawfield as he has been racing at different locations over a range of distances over his career including Sunderland, Sheffield, Newcastle and Pelaw Grange among others.
He finished first at Newcastle in the Grade OR Williamhill.com Sprint on 28th January, 2012. The punters were excited about his win as he raced as a favourite. He defeated Colarhouse Slim by 1 ½ lengths in 17.40 seconds over 290 metres.
His next performance a  as he finished third in the Grade OR Williamhill.com Sprint at the same venue on 18th February, 2012. He was defeated by Lily Mayday who finished in 17.39 seconds and Melview Ace who finished in 17.45 seconds as his own
finishing time was 17.46 seconds.
His most recent performance stirred interest from the bookmakers he aced the Grade OR William Hill Sprint at Sunderland on 3rd March, 2012. He led throughout and defeated Goonsosure by a head in 15.72 seconds.
He may not be that familiar with the track but his race standings speak for themselves.
Farneys Mark is a likely threat to Lampard as he has consistently racing in an impressive manner. He is not familiar to the Shawfield as well as he has been racing at Nottingham, Henlow and Sheffield.
This will be his second race at Shawfield as he bagged the victory the first time he raced here, which was on 3rd March, 2012.
The son of Montos Mark, out of Gusty Gale, showed his potential as he defeated Strange Ozzy in the Bettor.com Betting Exchange Spirit which covered 300 metres in 18.08 seconds. His winning meant more winnings for the punters as he was the race favourite
in that race.
Despite being race favourite, he finished as a runner-up in the Betfred Mobile Sprint Trophy, at Nottingham, on 12th March, 2012, where he was defeated by Romeo At Risk in 17.91 seconds.
Jim Bow Tie has a huge advantage in this race as he has been racing on this track for his entire career.
Trained by D Naughton, the hound is expected to excel in this race. The son of Priceless Rebel, out of Princess Molly, secured third place twice after which he stood second in the Grade OR Bettor.com Scottish Derby Trial Stake Div C at 10th March
at Shawfield.
He was defeated by Caledonian Brae in 29.93 seconds.
The bettors are speculating that Lampard will take the lead in this race but Farneys Mark may be tough to beat and will be fighting for a finish in second.
Jim Bow Tie might finish in third.
