With a lot of fingers being pointed at Lampard this season, it seems like the midfielder has gone on to commit his future to the Blues.
Many believed the midfielder could be on his way out of the club at the end of the season, but it seems like he is going to be sticking around for another couple of seasons.
The midfielder has gone on to reveal his admiration for Scholes and Giggs, as he believes the two midfielders have proven that he could also stick around till he is in his late thirties.
When talking about his future and talking about just how he wishes to emulate Giggs and Scholes, Lampard is quoted to have said: “I love Chelsea and, ideally, I will be here longer than just one more season.”
“I look at people like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-Scholes-c29394 and Ryan Giggs at Manchester United and see what they are still doing and I would love to do the same for Chelsea. I want to emulate them.”
He then went on to reveal that he has thought about playing outside of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 a couple of seasons ago, but in the end he decided to stick around at the Stamford Bridge.
“I considered playing abroad three or four years ago. But I decided to be here at Chelsea for the long haul.”
He then ended by claiming he wanted to stick around at Chelsea and that it would be up to the club to decide what they want him to do.

“You can see what can be achieved by players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Gerrard-c34196 who have been one-club men. Talks are planned with the club in the summer and as long as they want me, I would be more than happy to continue.”
