Chelsea’s veteran midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Frank-Lampard-c14097 has insisted that he is going to go on and give it his all, every time he steps onto the pitch with the Blues.
The midfielder is currently not being offered a new contract with the club, and with his current one set to run out in the near future, it’s now or never for the player.
Lampard has only six months left on his current deal with the team, but so far the club have not shown any real interest in putting pen to paper on a new contract with the club.
He was on the score sheet for Chelsea last night, as the Blues beat Aston Villa by eight goals to nil. In doing so, he went on to make five hundred starts for the Blues, while scoring his hundred and ninetieth goal for the team. He is now the leading goal
scorer for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in the top division, but even that record doesn’t seem to be convincing the board to offer him a new contract.
"I'm not concentrating on that [contract negotiations], I'm just going to continue playing and go game by game.”

"I'm just pleased to be fit. I'll keep trying to enjoy my football. I believe I have a lot in me to go, so I'll just try to show that.”

"I don't want to get too deep into that, the club's position is what it is and I'm just here to play football."
When talking about the records that he set and broke in the game against Aston Villa last night, Lampard is reported to have said: "It means I'm old!"

"It means alot, the starts are great, I've been very fortunate to play for a great club. The managers I've had, the team-mates I've had around me, I'm very proud of that.

"The goals record as well, to beat such a great man such as Bobby Tambling, he's a legend and a lovely bloke."
Nonetheless, this is now an interesting period for the player, who will have to wait it out and see just what the club have in store for him.
