    i like players who "want" to play for the club.

    looks like lampard actually loves to play for the team

    is it fantastic?

    eventhough i support a rival team, i think it is sort of good to have quality opponents, coz when u beat a good team u can be proud, if u know wht i mean.

    but the football he plays in Bridge, will decide wheter, his being in team is fantastic or not.

    given the fact that footballers often break their contracts, i will not be suprised if lampard goes out in the coming years. i don't think u should be counting on lampard staying on until 2013 based solely on the contract.

      

  4. I suppose it's great news for chelsea fans. Good player on his day, weighs in with a good return of goals from midfield, can only be good news I think.

  7. Yes. Lamps is an under rated player. The fact is that he scores goals, consistently, and you can't argue with that. I think that aside from Terry he is the signature icon of Chelsea. I am disappointed with his relative greediness involving the deal but to lose him would be painful. Stamford Bridge will give him a rousing reception on Sunday, and so they should. One of our finest is here to stay!

  10. I think thats stupid. Why do players sign 5 year contracts if they know they might change their mind? Ex: Cristiano Ronaldo just signed a 5 year contract and now wants to go to Real Madrid.

    Good player sometimes, but not consistent enough.  I thought he would have gone actually to be with his old mate Mourinho!
