The hosts had some very good batsmen in their line-up and would have been looking forward to a string fight. However, their batsmen failed to make a solid impression, as the team was all out for 201 runs in 37 overs.

The pitch had remained good for the batsmen, as there was not much assistance for the bowlers in it. However, batting was a touch more difficult compared to the first half of the match, as the ball came onto the bat a bit slower than expected.

The home team was in a spot of bother with four wickets down and just 71 runs on the boards. However, the team’s captain Javid and middle-order batsman S Hain came to the rescue of the team with a solid fifth wicket partnership.
The pair put together 94 runs for the fifth wicket, guiding the team into a very good position. However, one of them should have batted until the end in order to win the match for their side.
Javid got out after top scoring the innings with 58 runs whereas Hain also played well for his 41 runs. The lower-order of Warwickshire 2nd XI failed to make a solid impression and wickets kept on falling at regular intervals towards the end of
the innings.
Recordo Gordon was the last wicket to fall in the innings. He got out after adding 11 runs to the total.
