Lancashire v Durham – County Championship Division One – 2nd Day’s Recap

On an eventful 2nd day Durham were 27-3 at the close of play after Lancashire had managed to set a target of 181 at their temporary home at Liverpool, on June 28, 2011.  
Durham need 154 more runs to complete the win, which will be their second against Lancashire in the space of a month.  If Durham managed to win, it will Lancashire’s first defeat of the season in this competition.

Durham will recommence their second innings on 27-3. Though the match is evenly poised, it will be intriguing to see whether Durham keep their top position or Lancashire will fight back to claim a memorable win.
