  1. Berkman is overvalued right now because of the insanely hot streak he had earlier in the year. That's over. He'll still be really good over the rest of the season, but you can find other OFs who can contribute good numbers.

Hanley hits HRs and gets SBs. He is one of the very best players in fantasy baseball, and he plays in a position that does not have many good players.

Ask yourself: if I lose Hanley, who will I play at SS? If you don't love the answer (and odds are you won't), don't make the trade.

  2. It'd be a steal.

  3. It depends on your team needs.  If you need help in the home run and rbi categories you should do the trade.  However, if you are leading in those categories but losing in steals, you should keep Hanley.  Look at what categories your team needs before doing it.  I would say Berkman is worth more  than Hanley, but you need to fill your team's needs.

  4. I would keep hanley... you would have to settle for less at shortstop and its easier to replace a OF then it is a SS.  Don't do it.

  5. I don't think that's a good trade for you...yes Berkman puts up monster power numbers and will give you a decent AVE, but Hanley's power numbers and AVE are not that bad and he has speed (SB's).  Also, OF and 1B are deep positions but there are only 3 or 4 really good SS's.
