Lance Storm believes Punk vs. Jericho would be ‘spectacular’ – WWE News
Former WWE and WCW superstar Lance Storm expressed his views for WrestleMania 28, saying undoubtedly it would be a spectacular event to watch. Storm said that the match between Punk and Chris Jericho would be the most exciting one. He said that there are
other big matches too but he is keener on watching Punk and Jericho go one on one since they both are of the same calibre.
Storm is currently enjoying his semi-retirement age and runs his own training academy by the name Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary. WrestleMania 28 will take place on April 1. The event will be headlined by the bout between Jericho and Punk for the WWE
championship title.
During his recent interview, Storm said, “I think Jericho and Punk are really going to knock people's socks off. When Chris came up to Calgary to chip off the ring rust before his latest return, he knew at that point where it was going and he and I pitched
ideas and threw stuff back and forth. There's a good chance that there will be spots that will end up being in the match that I actually did with him in Calgary several months ago. It's well laid groundwork. The fact that he has had this seed planted in his
mind for several months, I'm expecting it to be quite spectacular.”
He further said that Jericho has a good grasp of the industry and he has the best build is the best product for the industry. He added that Chris knows very well how to make a match spectacular and what moves to perform to make sure viewers are enjoying
it. According to him, Jericho is a performer that stands out of the crowd, which makes this match even more enthralling to watch.
When Storm was asked about his future plans, he said he is now very finicky about who he works with and that since he wrapped up his full time career he has limited himself to work with people he ‘likes’ working with.
Storm did not predict a winner for the match, and most fans already know it would be Punk.
