Lancer EX : What Color Should i Get?

Question

I am purchasing a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EX and was thinking of what body color i should get. well actually I was thinking of putting designs on my car. Flames and etc.

so heres the thing.. i need your opinion... how would a blue car with the whole hood colored white with fading flames going to the sides? and the flames have a lime green outline ? Corny? give me a suggestion.. because i want to be Different... Taken to consideration that i am 16 years of age. :D

Your ideas are mostly... (cough) corny, because having flames!? thats wayyyy... to wacky. Thats like, your making a japanese car into a muscle car. Keep a one kind paint on your car and just add some body kit to it and good wheels. You won't regret it, as it will turn out great and you'll get a lot of props. If your still thinking about doing painting, I would suggest doing a very nice two-tone color on your car like silver on top half and bottom half blue. Just keep that car clean thats all.

I really would  not suggest any distortion of a completely decent car. I know you want to be different but what you are going to do would just make the car look ridiculous. Keep in simple. Tint your windows, keeping in mind that the driver and front passenger windows can be tinted with a lighter shade. Invest in a better tire and wheel package. The look of the car can go far with a nice looking set of wheels. Skip the chrome. Makes the car look tacky and it just says you're trying hard. Simple changes make the car look classier and prim.

Unless you're going underground streetracing, I don't recommend it. The easiest, simplest, yet classiest design for your car.. are racing stripes. Also, since the new Lancer looks very aggressive and semi-american, I'd imagine that the racing stripes would work out well. Popular combinations are Black w/Gold stripes, White w/Blue stripes, Red w/White stripes, Blue w/White, White w/Black, and Black w/White stripes.

Whatever decals and or lines & designs, get a metalic base paint.  I have had the glossy paint fade terribly on my Lancer.  I was told it is a glossy paint issue, and not happening with the metalic paints.
