Question:

Land Rover's ground clearance?

Does it look like Land Rover's newer models have lower ground clearance than older models? What is the point of a car famous for off road capability if it's ground clearance is too low? I've also noticed that a good amount of Land Rover owners are suburban house wives that take their Land Rovers on grass and gravel the extent of off roading.

  1. Land Rovers newer models are designed for picking up the children from school in the "Mum wars" and so don't need the ground clearance of older models because they will never see any mud. "Mum wars" refers to the "I've got a bigger carbon footprint than you!" boasting and simply means harder to park. It's a shame modern Land Rovers are all ecu based and not the traditional reliable fix it yourself vehicles.
