Question:

Land Trains???

If you know what a land train is, then please could you try and answer this question. Does anyone know where I could purchase one from. In the UK and is quite powerful.(.eg, can pull 2/3 trailers.) Can you help?

  1. If you mean the seaside-type passenger carrying Dotto landtrain these are low speed and street-legal.

    they are too long for UK roads

    the current UK laws only permit vehicles up-to 63 feet in length,

    there are a few companies that would like to use these lorries on UK roads as it would save  fuel and lower emissions and driver costs. Volvo have been trying to promote the European modular system for several years with very little success.

Look on the web at chassis firms ie Volvo  Mercs.Scania ....really sounds you want to run before you can walk if you were already a lorry driver or operator you would know which type you favour and best for the work you wish to put it to ,,Not sure a HGV licence alone will allow you to drive a landtrain
