Question:

Land in mobile home park is a safety hazard?

My stepdaughter almost fell in a ditch that is covered by tall grass. There are also other dangerous obstacles all over the park : such as abandoned buildings that are half torn down. There are warnings and ropes if you can see them through the tall grass and weeds so by the time you see them it might be too late. I feel that my landlord is a slum lord I live in Pennsylvania how can I prove this?

  1. Move to a better area. It IS a trailer park. Otherwise, if the city has condemned the buildings then you can't do anything about it. Call the city, they may make him/her clean it up for now. Nothing really long term you can do.

  2. a; contact the city; ask for the department that deals in hazardous

    real estate property.

b; keep your step daughter from walking in non-viewable areas.

TAKE a cutting instrument and start cutting down the tall

    view obscuring weeds.

    c; get ready to move.

IF the city does not take action, move the mobile home if

it is yours.  YOUR claim is "hazardous conditions.

plz do not feel offended if others do not see the

    negative environment that you do.

  3. Move.
