Land phone line?

Do you HAVE to have a land phone line in the house when everyone that lives in the house has a working cell phone, and no one but solicitors calls the house, so basically we spend $35 a month on the house phone when none of us use it. Is it worth the money to have a landline?

You might want to find one of your land line company's cheap rates. Example, unlimited local calls. When some of these idiot companies put you on hold for 1/2 hour, that really eats into your cell phone minutes. And any 800# calls I'd make with a cheap landline plan.

no.... I got rid of my landline 5 year ago....and I've saved so much money!!

if you keep the cell phone, no problem without a land line phone.
