Land sickness?

ok hear it is, I just got back from a 4 day cruise in the Caribbean which was my first experience and it also filled with heavy drinking. It has been about 4 days now and i feel lightheaded, dizzy, and still a little tired. Is this normal and is there anything i could do to help the problems along.

I have had that problem, motion sickness after the cruise. Take the over the counter bonine every 6 to 8 hours until you feel better. It will usually go away after taking the med for a few days.

After my first cruise I experienced a feeling of my equilibrium being out of whack.  It lasted a few days; don't remember how many; but was a weird feeling.  I was a college student at the time, and remember when I'd sit down to read, it felt like the room was spinning.  Hang in there; you should be better soon.  if not...go see a doctor.

I have rouble with that on every cruise I have had for about a weak I feel Like i am still on the seas.  Doctor had me take over the counter sea sickness medication.

I was on a 7 day cruise and was dizzy the whole time and could feel the ship moving at all times.  I didn't get sea sick however.  I only had 2 drinks during the whole cruise.  I really enjoyed the cruise and I am going again to Hawaii in Oct.  

Probably for about a week after I got home I felt really weird like I still had to still keep my balance.  I used a cane the whole time on the cruise and it helped a lot.  My dad said something about sea legs.

Some folks who go on cruises don't know when to stop drinking and I think you might be one of them so you have two choices,  cold turkey and get over it or continue drinking.  On a more serious note you could have picked up a virus such as the Norwalk Virus from the water supply on the ship or from an establishment you might have been drinking in if you happened to go ashore.  If these symptoms continue you should see a DR.
