Rubbish should not be dumped in landfill.  It should be burned instead.

Don't give me all that tripe about global warming.

What landfill? Most everything we throw out can be recycled one way or another. We could eventually start 'mining' old landfills for their valuable resources.

In some areas they have started ''mining " old dump sites they dig out a honeycomb shape hole remove all the debris items install a heavy rubberized liner and refill the hole with what is not usable

Kings county Nova Scotia has a huge commercial composting plant bones,paper,yard waste,kitchen waste,wood and so on is ground up put into the composter and processed when it comes out the other end it is rich compost.
