  2. hahahaa...this is one of those few times where the answer is yes and no

    yes:  Whenever a theater is casting for a play...they will host auditions..usually what they call a cattle call..

    no: the lead roles are sometimes pre-cast..which means the director already knows who they want in the title role.

  6. True, almost without any exceptions.  Even if there were an exception, there is probably still an audition requirement.
