Landline number?

I am connected to the internet by a cable hookup. How can I find out what my landline number is?

Plan ahead to call someone you know with caller ID; tell that person you will call at a certain time, then do it.  When that person answers, have them tell you what the landline number is.

Dial 1 (800)-444-4444  or use 1 [phone] 1(877) MY-ANI IS...All of these will read back your number. Do not abuse them, they record all requests. (free).
