I'd used this phone for almost 2 years now, nothing has ever gone wrong with it. Well just recently it started acting up. I don't get a dial tone? It says chargeing and when it gets done chargeing I pick it up to use it and it doesn't give me a dial tone. I can't send or recieve calls. Any solutions?

  1. Did you try calling the phone company to see if they are having problems?  Not sure where you are but recent storms have been causing problems here.

  2. Is the battery holding a charge, this could be the probelm

  3. This almost certainly a duff battery, that won't hold its' charge any longer. They are available at Maplins and most electrical retail outlets

  4. rechargedabkle batteries on land lines over time loose the ability to both rexgarge and retain a charge if you have had the same battery for 2 years you have done real weel, time ito get new batter it is well beyon it's life

rmember also when you get a new onw unplug the phone from the jack whileit charges it needs uninterrupted charge time to develop of memory, if you plug it into a jack while chargibf it and 5 minutes later the phonerings you will have a 5 minute charge on ther battery, unplig it while is charges and use a diffrent phone while you charge the new battery
