Landline telephone problem.........?

Question

My BT landline will accept incoming calls, but when I pick up receiver to make an outgoing call, there is a continuous high-pitched tone and I cannot dial numbers.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

I can only use one phone jack at a time.  If I plug in a second phone, no dial tone on either of them.  Individually, they both work, but not at same time.  Help

i need the number to call from my home phone to find out the number to my line or how to get the numbers to reactivate it

I have this problem for second time,my telephon is dead i cant call or reaived call.please sort out it.
