Landloards regulations in massachuttes?

I live on the third floor of my building.

And last year it wasn't so hot because i had an ac.

and now my land loard only let me use a certain amount of

electricity and my power always blows even if i turn on a hair dryer or vacume, and only one wall of my house is on a diffrent circit. is there anything i can do.

without an ac my kids are very hot,

  1. He can not control how much electrical pull you have unless he is paying for it! You can report him to the news or to your local tenants union! Also You can call the department of building and tell them that your apartment only has 2 circuits! Depending on the size of your apartment that's illegal as well! Hope I was helpful! The only way a landlord can control how much electricity you use if there is a "utility cap' in the lease...A cap means..in a lease that ..we furnish electricty up untill 100.00 or 200.00 and the tenant is responsible for anything over this... Otherwise if there is "no cap" listed in the lease on a all bills paid apartment..They cannot control the amount you use..also in most states...the law requires heat and ac to perform properly to maintain a inside temperature  of a minimum of 72 degrees farenheit...Here is a link to your states landlord/tenant laws..the tenant has as much rights to live comfortably than the landlord does to provide them...
