Landlord Anti-Military Any Ideas!!!

Question

So my landlord seemed so cool. Then again, she is in Hawaii 6 months out of the year. Since coming back in June she has made many anti-military comments to me. She even told me to pray that Obama wins. I have no political comments to make. The issue is that I do not understand why her negative comments need to be made. I think she believes that Bush, the war, and the military are terrible and that Obama is going to be so super-human that if our country is attacked he will battle them alone and blind folded. I am moving in a month and she will start showing our apartment while we still live here. I plan on hanging my huge red Marine Corps Far East Tour blanket I got in Okinawa for all future tenants to see. Any other ides???

HA... Yeah layout all your marine things, such as ruck sack, suites, boots oh and even MEDALS! Because as soon as the future tenants see's them they will look at you in pride and congrats you and that'll p**s your landlord off and what not and if she shows her emotions about the military im sure the tenants will think she is crazy for sure!!!

Suck it up, sweetie. Not everyone has to agree with your views or your politics. It's called free speech, something you should know about if you are really a military family. Soldiers have been dying for that landlady's right to say whatever the heck she wants to say about the government, military, etc. Why would you dishonor their sacrifice by whining and crying about someone who exercises that right? Take a big girl pill, and just *chill*.

You state that you think she believes that Bush, the war and the military are terrible.   You think.  Do you know?  

Did she actually say that?  Or did you infer that because she likes Obama?  When in doubt, verify.

I like Obama (I may or may not vote for him, I like John McCain too) but that doesn't make me anti-military . .  . I've been in 18 years!

Maybe you could verify before you pass judgement??  Obviously, she knew you were in the Marines when she rented the place to you. . .so how anti-military is she?

EDIT:  Maybe you could just stop hanging out with her?  Just a thought.

2nd Edit:  You like drama.  If it wasn't this, it would be something else.  Maybe you could volunteer on base at the Family Support center or something.
